90 Day Fiance's Shekinah Hints at 'Rough Patch' With Sarper
90 Day Fiancé star Shekinah Garner has hinted that she and fiancé Sarper Güven are going through a difficult time in their relationship.
The reality star, 43, did a Q&A on her Instagram Stories on Monday, April 28, and responded to a fan who asked if she was going through a “rough patch” with Sarper, 44. “Let’s just say you probably won’t see us on any more seasons,” she wrote.
Shekinah alluded to problems in their relationship in other Q&A responses, as well. One fan asked if Sarper has “calmed down” since he moved from his native Turkey to be with the makeup artist in Los Angeles, adding that she deserves the “best.” However, Shekinah replied, “Nope. Living here in the U.S. has made everything harder.”
She added, “And thank you. I think I do, too.”
Another user asked if Shekinah and Sarper were “OK,” to which the California native responded, “Nothing about this is easy.”
“What is one thing you wish you could change with a snap of your fingers right now?” one person asked.
Shekinah wrote, “I wish I had a healthy, happy relationship with Sarper.”
Finally, someone asked if Shekinah was “happy at this point” in her life. She responded, “I never thought my life would come to this point. So no.”
Fans watched Shekinah and Sarper get into an explosive argument that left the couple questioning their future together during the Sunday, April 27, episode of 90 Day Fiancé season 11.

“What is your problem?” Shekinah asked her fiancé, who responded, “My problem is your face. I know that f–king face.”
“Do you understand how crazy you sound right now?” Shekinah asked. Sarper shouted, “You are useless!”
Sarper ultimately threatened to leave the U.S. and go back home to Turkey after less than one month in America.
“F–k this life,” he said. “OK. I really hate this life, and I’m going back to my country.”
In a confessional, Sarper explained, “I feel myself useless. Everything piled up, that depression, and I said it’s enough. That’s all. I just go downstairs, don’t talk with her, let the time solve something, and this is where we are right now. We are not talking. Two strangers in the same house.”
Meanwhile, Shekinah said that Sarper had been sleeping on the couch and described their living situation as “tense” and “awkward.”
“He was adjusting more to L.A. life,” she said. “I took him to some parties in L.A. He loved them. It was just the other day that everything changed. He was in a bad mood. He was treating me like s–t. He was being such an a–hole.”
Shekinah continued, “I have made such huge adjustments for him to live here. There’s no room in my closet for my clothes. Like, I have all of his stuff hung up. … I just feel like he doesn’t even appreciate it. And it was different at his place when we were fighting because I could leave. And here, I can’t leave my place. Like, this is my place. I’m not just going to leave.”
Shekinah and Sarper were first introduced to fans on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5 in August 2023. The pair met on a dating app while the aesthetician was on vacation in Turkey, and they met up for a date. She was impressed by how much effort Sarper put into his appearance, including wearing makeup. Shekinah later moved to Turkey to live with Sarper full-time. However, the couple, who got engaged during The Other Way season 6, ultimately relocated to the U.S. to tie the knot.
Fans will have to keep watching 90 Day Fiancé season 11 on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on TLC to see if Sarper and Shekinah made it down the aisle.
