90 Day Fiancé’s Sarper Güven said it’s a “good thing” that he’s slept with nearly 3,000 women because it makes him more loyal in his relationship with fiancée Shekinah Garner.
“I have a very chaotic past with that body count thing,” Sarper, 44, confessed to People in an interview published on Tuesday, March 11.
“But for a man, if the body count is high, it’s a good thing for a relationship. Because right now, women can’t tempt me,” he explained. “Wherever I go, women try to talk to me. I don’t care how beautiful they are, how sexy. I don’t care because I saw everything. I had the fantasy.”
“That’s why I always told her, ‘OK, you don’t like my past, the body count, but it’s benefit for relationship,” Sarper added about Shekinah, 43. “I won’t have a roving eye because I had a roving eye.”
Sarper and Shekinah first made their TLC debut on season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, and the couple has since become a fan-favorite, going on to appear in season 6.
Shekinah claimed the Turkey native confessed to sleeping with nearly 3,000 women in the season 6 premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in July 2024, after she relocated back to Los Angeles following a move to Sarper’s home country in season 5.
“About a month before I moved to Turkey, Sarper told me that he had slept with over 2,500 women,” she confessed. “At the time I thought that it was a typo. I mean, 250 was still a lot to me, but I was willing to let it slide. But he actually responded saying it’s between 2,500 and 3,000.”
Sarper said he had sex with “four-and-a-half women a day,” but told Shekinah she was the only woman for him.
“I understand she has trust issues — I have been with many women, and I am the worst résumé- guy on the planet,” he explained. “But I changed so much, so much, for her, but she still wants more.”
The fitness fanatic even claimed he took a financial hit trying to please Shekinah by limiting the number of women he was around.
“Before Shekinah, I was doing financially good as a personal trainer,” Sarper revealed on The Other Way. “But Shekinah was so insistent about me leaving the female clients, and 90 percent of my clients are females. So, from my income, 90 percent [is] cut right now. I have no savings left.”
After the esthetician uprooted her life to reside with Sarper in Istanbul, Turkey, the duo is now living in Los Angeles, with Sarper relocating to the City of Angels to be with Shekinah.

She explained how “the trust thing got easier” when he moved to L.A, as did their power dynamic.
“In Turkey, I always wondered, ‘What would he be like in Los Angeles with a bunch of beautiful women around? I don’t know how he’s going to act. Is he going to embarrass me?’” she told the outlet. “And then as soon as I saw him in Los Angeles, he’s oblivious to anyone and he’s so hyper-focused on me.”
“Our dynamic changed because I am having to take the lead now because he’s in my world,” Shekinah explained. “I’m like, ‘This is how we do things here.’ And he’s an alpha male. In Turkey, I fell back, and I was taking his lead, and when that role reversed, it probably did seem like I changed because our dynamic changed.”
Sarper gave fans a career update on January 7 via his Instagram account.
“I have just started to give one-to-one personal training coaching sessions in Los Angeles. Probably you know me from reality TV and you know how [much of a] control freak and dominant guy I am,” Sarper shared. He included before and after photos of the bodies of his clients in a February 5 Instagram post, promising, “Train with Sarper – The success is inevitable.”
