90 Day Fiancé star Liz Woods confirmed she was diagnosed with cancer weeks after revealing she completed chemotherapy.

Liz, 32, revealed the news in a comment to a fan after 90 Day Fiancé blogger Shabooty posted a photo of her via Instagram on Monday, December 30. The photo showed the 90 Day Fiancé alum and her daughter enjoying breakfast, accompanied by the caption: “This was one year ago today.”

In the comment section, a fan asked, “Does Liz have cancer?”

“I’m going through treatment for it,” she candidly replied.

Liz first raised speculation that she was battling the disease on December 21, when she told her followers that she had concluded chemotherapy treatment.

“In this last week I was promoted at work, finished my last round of chemo, and accomplished my first run within the last 6 months. Blessed,” she captioned a carousel of photos. It’s unclear what type of cancer Liz was diagnosed with.

The diagnosis confirmation came two days after Liz clapped back at a social media user who called her too “skinny.”

“It’s actually perfect thank you very much,” she wrote in response to the troll on December 30. “My body has been through depression, which made me gain an uncontrollable amount of weight, treated me well during my own weight loss journey and then endured 14 rounds of chemo.”

The reality star concluded, “I pray you deal with your own body insecurities. Much love.”

Liz made her debut on season 1 of 90 Day: The Single Life alongside her ex Ed “Big Ed” Brown in 2021. She has been open online about the weight she gained during her time on the reality show.

In July 2024, she reflected on her weight loss since leaving the show by sharing a photo of herself in a black bikini top with a matching black skirt alongside a photo of her appearing heavier on the TV franchise. She wrote, “43 pounds I gained this time last year. I found myself back to me.”

She also revealed to her followers that staying active was the reason she met her new boyfriend, Jayson Zuniga. “We actually met at a run. We are very active with each other. We met at an eight-mile run,” the San Diego native told TV Insider that same month.

Liz also shared details about her whirlwind romance with Jayson, which started after Ed, 59, called off their wedding following a heated argument in an April episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?

“I was supposed to get married in August, Ed and I separated, and I started dating my boyfriend in October,” she said. “It happened really fast. I wasn’t looking. I planned on being single. We just hung out and were inseparable. Since then, I truly feel like when I read these sayings of like, someone can give you everything you’ve needed in three months that someone couldn’t in three years, I truly believe that.”

She explained that their relationship “just fell into [her] lap” and added that it has remained “strong,” with “not one breakup” as of the time of the interview.
