90 Day Fiances Jasmine Slams Claims She Used Gino to Get to US
90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine Pineda is setting the record straight about her intentions with now-estranged husband Gino Palazzolo after many people accused her of “using” him to get to the U.S.
“I will never be able to hate or be that resentful at Gino. He’s acting like I’m his worst enemy, you know, like, this is a battle of who looks good, who looks bad. I will never be able to hate someone that once I loved very much. I know a lot of people have questioned the reasons why I came to this country,” the Panama native, 38, said in a preview of the upcoming fifth and final part of the 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 tell-all shared by Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, April 23. “Like, if I used Gino, but I think that deep in his heart, he can say whatever he wants to people, but he truly knows how much I love him.”
Jasmine, who was crying as she spoke, also admitted that she knows she “wasn’t the perfect wife” and “made so many mistakes.”
However, Gino, 56, responded, “Look, if you truly love me, you wouldn’t have pursued Matt at the gym five months after our marriage,” referring to Jasmine’s boyfriend and the father of her third child, Matt Branistareanu.
Jasmine revealed on The Last Resort that she befriended Matt, 37, at a gym in Michigan after she moved to the U.S. and tied the knot with Gino. She convinced her now-estranged husband to have an open marriage and introduced Gino to Matt, as seen on the show.
Though Gino and Jasmine recommitted to each other in the Last Resort finale and decided to give the open marriage a try, Gino revealed in part 1 of the tell-all that they were separated. Jasmine also revealed her pregnancy to her costars at the time. She explained in a TikTok Q&A that she and Matt conceived their daughter, Matty — who was born on March 21 — “almost five months” after she and Gino called it quits.

“He was in a committed relationship with somebody else, so I don’t know why in the tell-all, he has a attitude, like, you know, I was sleeping with him when I was still committed to him when I got pregnant,” Jasmine said.
However, Gino denied his ex’s claim, commenting on the video shared by fan account Reality TV Mess, “What she is saying in this video is not true! The truth will play out on the show starting with the next episode part 4. You have also seen the truth play out on the show partially to this point. More to come!”
While Gino accused Jasmine of “pursuing” Matt in the tell-all clip, she interrupted him to say that she didn’t “care” what he thought.
“I did love you,” she insisted. “I came to this country out of love. I never pursue anything.”
Gino doubled down on his claim that Jasmine “pursued” Matt at the gym during their marriage and said that this was “not love.” The former teacher fired back by saying that the Michigan native “treats [her] like garbage.”
“You have always treated me bad,” she said.
Matt also had a chance to speak, telling Jasmine that he “loves her” and “cares for her” and would be there to support her, “whether we’re together or not.”
“I’m happy, and I think it’s going in the right direction,” he concluded.
Gino and Jasmine tied the knot in Michigan in June 2023 after her K-1 visa was approved. However, as seen on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8, Jasmine claimed that Gino had not filed paperwork for her to receive her green card. Gino hinted in February that he did eventually file the necessary papers for Jasmine to get her green card and that she’d had it for more than one year.
