90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine Pineda was rushed into emergency surgery less than one month after giving birth to her third child.

“I had an emergency surgery in one of my tooth,” Jasmine, 38, told her social media followers via Instagram on Friday, April 18. “My gums got so messed up during pregnancy, it caused some issues.”

In another slide, the 90 Day Fiancé alum explained that she called her partner, Matthew Branistareanu, “yelling out of pain” and he came home to immediately take care of her and look after their baby girl, Matilda.

“[He] found me an endodontist and set up an appointment,” she recalled. “He stayed home taking care of Matty while I went to surgery. I’ve been sleeping the whole afternoon till now! You’re the best Matt! I appreciate you so much.”

Jasmine then seemingly shaded her ex Gino Palazzolo, writing, “Then you see how you moved 2,300 miles for someone who wouldn’t even drive you five minutes away vs. someone that won’t hesitate to be here for you unconditionally and that showers and smells good on top of that.”

Still gushing over Matt, 37, she posted a sweet selfie kissing his cheek, captioning it, “The way I’ve witnessed this man take care of me and protect me has healed broken pieces of me.”

Jasmine’s emergency surgery came less than one month after she gave birth to her first child with Matt. The TLC personality is already a mother of two sons, Juance and JC, who she had from a previous relationship.

The Panama native officially announced Matilda’s birth on April 8, but Jasmine later revealed that the baby girl had actually arrived weeks earlier, on March 20 at 5.41 a.m.

Fans learned about her pregnancy for the first time during the 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 tell-all where she arrived with her growing baby bump. Although Jasmine and Gino, 56, had left the spinoff recommitment to their marriage, he confirmed they had called it quits after “things started changing” following their time in the resort.

“Normally I come in here and I have good news for you, but today I don’t. Because Jasmine and I, we separated,” the Michigan native told host Shaun Robinson during the episode, which was filmed in January 2025.

Viewers met Matt for the first time during 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2. At the time, Jasmine and Gino were battling intimacy issues in their marriage and the mom of three saw an open relationship as the remedy to their sexless marriage.

Although Gino refused to accept the arrangement, he ultimately agreed to the idea and met Matt for the first time via a FaceTime call in the March 24 finale because he felt like it was the only way to save his marriage.

During the recommitment ceremony, Jasmine told Gino, “I still don’t know if this is what you want, but anyway, love starts as a feeling but continues as a choice and I find myself choosing you more and more every day. I promise you my unconditional love, tenderness and undying devotion. And to love you, comfort you, protect you and shelter you all days of my life till the day I die, baby.”

Noting that his ultimate goal was to eventually discontinue their open marriage, Gino responded, “I don’t want to lose you, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to keep you. I’m not going to give up.”
