90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine Pineda shared a rare update about her young sons in Panama as she lives thousands of miles away and anticipates the arrival of her third child.

“Juance has a speech about the animal cell, so he asked me to order a cake to share with his classmates at the end of his presentation. He better get an A,” Jasmine, 38, captioned the photo of the yellow dessert posted to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, March 27.

The cake has “celula animal,” which translates to “animal cell” in Spanish. Juance is Jasmine’s older son of her two children, whom she shares from a previous relationship. She is also the mother of her younger son, JC, both of whom live with family members in Panama.

Jasmine moved to the United States in March 2023 to marry Gino Palazzolo, completing the requirements of their K-1 visa by that June. At the time, the Michigan native, 56, did not include Jasmine’s children on her original visa application — causing potential years-long delays to their arrival in America.

Not much is known about Jasmine’s sons’ lives in Panama and how they will be affected as she expects baby No. 3 with her boyfriend, Matthew Branistareanu, amid her marriage to Gino. Shortly after announcing her pregnancy on February 18, the 90 Day Fiancé alum shared a rare update about the ongoing visa process when asked by a fan when her kids were coming to America.

“I recently got the resources I need to get an immigration lawyer and bring them to America,” Jasmine replied. “The fact that I’m not a citizen (plus they weren’t included in my visa petition) is making things very hard (that plus the current political situation — which might favor or not this kind of process).”

The former educator said she would “immediately” return to Panama if her sons’ visa applications were “rejected.” She continued, “I won’t live in America anymore. I can’t give any more details besides this because of contractual obligations.”

Jasmine previously learned that it could take up to two years for her children’s visas to be approved during a March 2024 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? At the time, Jasmine threatened to leave her husband if he didn’t hire an attorney to help expedite the process of bringing her children over.

Things seemingly have gotten complicated for the former couple after Jasmine and Gino agreed to an open marriage during season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort, their latest stint on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. At the time, the automotive engineer believed the open relationship was the only way to save his marriage with Jasmine after more than nine months without intimacy.

“Because otherwise Jasmine, you know, could leave me and cheat on me with someone else,” he explained during episode 16, which aired March 17. “As terrible as an open marriage sounds, this might be the only way to keep Jasmine in my life.”

Although Gino and Jasmine agreed to recommit to their marriage on the dramatic season finale, which aired on Monday, March 24, Jasmine shocked fans by returning to the tell-all stage pregnant with Matthew’s baby.
