Sophie Sierra got support from a familiar face as she accused her estranged husband, Rob Warne, of abuse after addressing his gay photo scandal that has been a topic during part 4 of the 90 Day: The Last Resort tell-all.

Ariela Weinberg, who appeared on the spinoff alongside her estranged husband Biniyam “Bini” Shibre, spoke out in defense of Sophie, 26, after the U.K. native criticized continued support for Rob, 35, labeling him an “abusive man.”

In the comment section on Sophie’s reshared Instagram Story, Ariela, 34, called out social media users for their negative remarks toward Sophie, saying this kind of backlash is exactly why “women don’t come forward with abuse.”

“‘Oh, she slept with him … she smiled at him … she did this’ … it’s called a trauma bond. Not all abusive relationships are like the movie Enough,” Ariela wrote in the post, shared by fan account 90 Day The Melanated Way. “There are good times and happy moments. You miss the person that they use to be or occasionally get glimpses of the person you thought you loved.”

The New Jersey native highlighted how difficult it was to “leave an abusive relationship,” noting that, on average, it takes a woman seven attempts to leave successfully.

“They come in all flavors from all sorts of men. And not all abusive men are evil. Some of them are your neighbors, your brothers, your fathers. Trauma bonds are formed,” Ariela concluded. “After all, they are the only other person who lives the abuse with you. I feel sad that our society is made up of toxic judgmental people. Even if you don’t believe someone, you don’t have to disparage them.”

Sophie personally replied to Ariela’s comment, expressing gratitude for her support as others in the comment section continued to question her credibility.

“People don’t understand trauma bonds or how it feels to be in abusive relationships and it’s so hard to try [and] talk about because people don’t understand,” Sophie wrote back. “Everyone seems to be blaming the women for their reactions and not the men for their actions.”

Sophie and Rob’s relationship was a major topic during part 4 of the 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 tell-all, where the online influencer revealed to viewers why she “really” walked away from her marriage with Rob.

“He was getting paid $500 to suck d–k,” the influencer alleged to host Shaun Robinson during the episode, which aired on April 21. Rob vehemently denied the prostitution accusations, but Sophie claimed she had the “screenshots” receipts to back up her claims.

“I’m not homosexual and have definitely never been any kind of prostitute. It’s very unfortunate the levels people will go to just to deflect from their own discretions,” he wrote via his Instagram Stories on March 31 after explosive drama on the tell-all with fellow costar Jasmine Pineda.

While the latest episode was airing, Sophie addressed the tense confrontation with Rob and defended herself against claims she “outed” Rob after accusing him of selling sexual services to men for money.

“I left Rob because he was abusive, but I didn’t want to say it on TV,” she claimed via her Instagram Stories. “I didn’t ‘out him being gay,’ I’m literally part of the community myself, I’ve outed him cheating and prostituting — doesn’t matter if it’s the same gender, if your married, that’s not OK. People have zero idea what I actually went through and I’m tired of a false narrative put out tbh. I have accepted that people will only believe what they see on TV.”

Rob responded to Sophie’s online remarks in an exclusive statement to In Touch, saying, “Sophie will say anything to deflect from taking any responsibility for how our relationship turned out.”

“I made plenty of mistakes, but I’m not homosexual and I don’t hit women. Sophie has been pushing to destroy my character meanwhile I’m just trying to move on,” he explained on Wednesday, April 23. Rob emphasized that there was “no reason” for Sophie to keep speaking out about him online as they were “no longer together.” In addition, he claimed that his ex was more “upset that the audience wasn’t eating the slander from the palm of her hands like she expected,” rather than their issues themselves.

“Every time an episode airs, I have to worry if the audience responded well for her because if not, she will post online to double down and slander me more,” he explained. “ANYTHING to avoid being supportive or admitting she made any mistakes. Sophie will use conflicts we had three plus years ago to justify slandering me today. She never was a ‘wife.’ And I was wrong to expect more from her. At this point I just want to move on from being associated to her.”

Rob and Sophie made their debut on 90 Day Fiancé season 10, which aired in October 2023. After tying the knot in June 2023, they returned to screens on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? to share more of their journey before documenting their final split on 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2.
