Um WTF? Fans Think ’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Jesse Meester Was Cast as a Contestant on ‘The Bachelorette’

What the heck is going on? We know Jesse Meester as Darcey Silva‘s much-younger lover from the Netherlands on 90 Day Fiancé, but it seems like he may soon be starring on another hit reality show about love… The Bachelorette!

Recently, many fans have been commenting on Jesse’s Instagram photos with theories and questions about his “upcoming” stint on The Bachelorette. It is unclear how this rumor started, but Jesse has not denied or confirmed it. Instead, he’s teased many fan in the comments section of his recent posts.

On a recent video of Jesse flying in a helicopter, a fan asked, “Was this for The Bachelorette, or just you? Please take me with you, you inspired me to live my life and end my relationship so I’m ready for something real,” to which Jesse responded: “Love this! as you spark me in the same way.” Another fan asked, “Love you! When will your season air of The Bachelorette?” Yet another seemed to expect to see him on the show as well, saying, “MARRY ME. LIKE NOW. (Please give me a heads-up when The Bachelorette doesn’t work out,” and Jesse replied, “Like now?” 

“Jesse you know I love you a lot. Please if you haven’t married on your new season of The Bachelorette 2019 yet, check your DMs and give me a chance.” Jesse replied, “Aww.” When Jesse shared a photo with a female model from an upcoming H&M ad campaign he’s in, a fan said, “I love you! Are you married with her? Is she from The Bachelorette?” Jesse replied, “we’re not married haha. We work together.” “Please tell me you are still on Bachelorette and did not marry yet!” asked another commenter, and Jesse sent back a yellow heart and praying emoji. We don’t see any denials!

The fans are most likely referring to an international version of The Bachelorette. The American version just wrapped the most recent season of the show and will not begin casting until 2019 for the next one. Jesse lives in the Netherlands, which doesn’t have its own iteration of the hit dating show. However, nearby Germany does, and he has been travelling a lot recently. There are also Bachelorette shows in Romania, Switzerland, and Slovenia, which are close by as well. 

Of course, Jesse being cast on The Bachelorette would answer the big question about where his relationship with Darcey stands. The couple’s romance played out on Before the 90 Days, where they met online and began dating. On the most recent episode, Jesse came to America for the first time and met Darcey’s daughters, but the couple just couldn’t seem to get along. Of course, the show is filmed in advance, so fans have been wondering where they currently stand. If he’s dating another woman on TV, it would be clear he’s clearly no longer with Darcey. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens!
