1000-Lb. Sisters star Amanda Halterman hard launched her relationship with her new boyfriend, Leonard Moore, following her split from ex-boyfriend RJ.

“Three months together and a lifetime of adventure waits. Here’s to the next road trip love!” Amanda, 44, wrote alongside a photo of her and Leonard posted via Instagram on Tuesday, January 7.

The new couple looked happy as they smiled for the camera and posed with their arms around each other.

Despite revealing her new romance, Amanda didn’t share any details about how she met Leonard or how long they have been dating.

Shortly after Amanda shared the photo of her and Leonard, several fans took to the comments section to express their excitement and note how happy she looked. “Charming looking couple. I sound like a great grandmother. But y’all make a nice couple,” one person wrote in the comments section, and another chimed in, “You look so happy!! I love it!!!”

“I love this for you!!” a third fan commented, and an additional person wrote, “Aww you two look so happy beautiful picture.”

Amanda hard launched her new romance just three weeks after she confirmed she was seeing someone in the comments section of an Instagram post on December 21, 2024.

“You’re back in Kentucky, are ya single? Are ya visiting or officially back?” one person asked, and Amanda replied, “I am officially back for a short time and am not single. In a happy healthy relationship.”

Before her romance with Leonard, Amanda was in a relationship with a man named RJ. The couple moved quickly, and Amanda even relocated from her native Kentucky to Florida to be with him. However, their love story wasn’t meant to be, and Amanda claimed that RJ had ghosted her in May 2024.

“So, this is the post that I have dreaded to make,” she told fans in a video posted to TikTok at the time. “I haven’t seen RJ since May 1. He left to go see his family and I come to Kentucky to finish working. He was supposed to be here on, like, the 24th or the 25th, never showed up. I texted, I called, even tried to contact the family members that I had numbers [for] and nobody responded. And no contact since.”

After Amanda had said that she “got ghosted,” she admitted that it “wasn’t the first time” RJ has disappeared on her and she “forgave him the first time.”

Despite having the romance end on a sour note, Amanda insisted she was staying positive and said that the situation “is what it is.” Meanwhile, she also revealed her plan to move back to Kentucky and live with sister Amy Slaton.

“God has a reason for me to be here,” she continued in the clip. “Ya girl is single. I’m not sure I’m ready to mingle. I don’t know that I’ll ever be the same after this, and I’m not sure what to do with all of the memories, the pictures, all of those things.”
