Uh oh! Amy Duggar King offered her followers a rather scary update about her pregnancy on social media — she had early contractions! The Counting On cousin wrote on a rather silly photo of her husband, Dillon King, and her belly on September 22, “The goal is to laugh forever with someone you take serious. Well … at times!😋 Last night was one of those serious times. I went to the hospital and they told me I was having early labor contractions and whoaa buddy they were intense but I’m not yet dilated!” Yikes!

Amy, 32, continued, “So I just have to breathe, rest and let my body do the rest. Thank you for always being my rock @kingdillpickle and for all the prayers and sweet DM’s! The nurse said Daxton is ‘textbook perfect!’ Praise the Lord!🙌” That’s excellent news, at least! The clothing boutique owner then added, “PS: checking for dilation hurts. Hurts freaking bad and I seriously should write a book about the real stuff that happens during pregnancy. I promise I wouldn’t sugar coat a thing!! LOL!” Hey, we would check it out!

The mom-to-be also said in the comments of the post that she isn’t due until October 9. So her first child, whom she plans to name Daxton Ryan, still has some cookin’ to do before she and Dillon welcome their son into the world!

Previously, Amy exclusively told In Touch at WEtv’s Love After Lockup screening in August that her famous cousins told her to take it easy when it comes to new parenthood. “They just told me to love on that baby and take time, just like spending time just bonding with Dax when he’s here. And not rush back to work … skin on skin and that kind of thing. I already have these Instagram photos in my head of what I want to do.”

She added that, for the most part, her pregnancy has gone smoothly. “I was only sick for 17 weeks, first trimester, I wanted mashed potatoes and hot pockets — which sounds delicious,” she revealed. “Now, it’s like normal. Now, it’s good.” We hope the rest of her pregnancy is calm and little Dax arrives happy, healthy and right on time.
